"When you are thinking about the general trends, there is still consistent historical patterns where you see a minor dip in the share that is bought by farmers, then a small uptick from 22 to 25 percent for investors, but still that the investors are not the dominant category."

"Fifty-five percent of the sellers are still the estate sales and the retired farmers as sellers are slightly higher than last year. In part they are encouraged by the high prices, some are concerned about the potential tax changes."
