New Required PI Training Added to Learn@ISU

Regulatory agencies have recently indicated a need to document investigator familiarity with responsibilities associated with sponsored work. As a result, Iowa State University Finance Service Delivery and the Office of the Vice President for Research have developed an investigator responsibility overview training module. All Principal Investigators with active or new awards are required to complete the approximately 35-minute training no later than January 1, 2022. Employee flu shots available Oct. 4-15

ISU WellBeing is once again partnering with Ames Lab Occupational Medicine to provide flu vaccinations to eligible ISU employees. The vaccine is provided at no cost as a service through ISU WorkLife and WellBeing.

Call for welcome volunteers

The Division of Student Affairs plans to provide five Welcome and Information Stations across campus the first two days of classes again this year. The goal of the stations is to welcome students to Iowa State University and answer students’ questions.
