Schulte receives alumni award

Econ and Hist dept Distinguished Alumni AwardProfessor and Department Chair Joshua Rosenbloom presented alumnus Troy Schulte ('94 economics) the 2019 Departments of Economics and History Distinguished Alumni Award at the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences dinner and awards ceremony Thursday, October 24, 2019.

Schulte, the city manager of Kansas City, Missouri, for more than a decade, earned degrees in both history and economics from Iowa State University. The award recognizes him as a "distinguished alumnus who demonstrated outstanding professional achievement," and was presented at the ceremony at the Iowa State Alumni Center.

In addition, Schulte was a guest for the Iowa State Homecoming game Saturday, October 26.
