Rowe receives ag bus club award

Sadie Gravel, Jeff Rowe, Riley ArthurJeff Rowe ('95 ag business), President Global Seeds & North America & China, Syngenta, was given the Ag Bus Club's Outstanding Alumni Award 2018. The award, which recognizes Rowe’s contribution to agriculture and his career achievements, was presented March 2, 2019 at the club's Awards Banquet at Scheman.

Rowe has been with Syngenta since 2016, and prior to that worked more than 21 years in several roles at DuPont Pioneer.

Rowe, who also earned a law degree from Drake Law School, and a Global Executive MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business and the London School of Economics, joins a long line of distinguished recipients of the award.

On receiving his award, he said to the audience of ISU students and parents, “I am very proud to be here today. Agriculture has always been a big part of my life. I am passionate about doing all we can to help farmers around the world thrive. Our industry is evolving rapidly and over the next 20 years we will see changes that we may not even imagine today. You are the future leaders of our great industry, and I am truly honored to receive this award and recognition.”
