I am Professor of Economics at Iowa State University. I work on various topics in the general area of macro-development, using general equilibrium, dynamic, micro-founded macro models to study issues in macro and development economics. My current interests are in public economics (esp. social security), demography, macro-environment, political economy and the economics of discrimination.
