Dr. Bertan Turhan is an applied microeconomic theorist whose research focuses mainly on the theory and applications of market design. His recent work studies affirmative action policies and fragmented markets in education and labor markets in different countries. His research blends ideas from Game Theory, Computer Science, and Operations Research. He teaches microeconomic theory, game theory, and mathematics at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
