A green dot represents any moment, big or small, that either directly or indirectly helps reduce the prevalence of violence on campus.
Iowa State University and the Department of Economics are committed to providing a safe campus for all students, staff and faculty by supporting all efforts to intervene and prevent sexual assault, partner violence and stalking. It's our goal to spread Green Dots across campus and for as many people as possible to be involved, in small and big ways.
If your gut is telling you something is not right with a student or colleague:
- Take the time to inquire and express your concern.
- If you are uncomfortable doing so, delegate to a trusted colleague or friend of the student.
- Provide resources to all students, so as not to call out a specific student.
