Professor Joshua Rosenbloom was interviewed by STAT+ for the story "NIH fellows, weighing a union, want a pay raise. Will that mean less money for grants?"
The story focuses on research fellows at the National Institutes of Health wanting to for a union partly to raise their pay stipends. Rosenbloom told STAT+ that “You could have a situation in which NIH leadership bargains in good faith with and wants to be accommodating to the reasonable demands of the union, but Congress says, ‘Oh, well, if you’re going to do that, we’re going to cut your budget. We’re not going to fund any of this.’”
