Alumni Awards

Benjamin Malin graduated Phi Beta Kappa in Mathematics and Economics from Iowa State University in 2000. He then went on to complete a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University in 2006, specializing in macroeconomics.

Jim Knuth won the 2024 CALS Floyd Andre Award, which honors those who have mad outstanding contributions to Iowa agriculture and the agricultural business industry. His profile is featured on the CALS Award website.

Dr. Randyl Elkin was awarded the Distinguished Alumni in Economics Award at the LAS Alumni Award Banquet held on October 31. He graduated from Iowa State University's Department of economics with his bachelor's degree in 1965 and his Ph.D.

The Department of Economics Outstanding Alumni Award (Distinguished Service to Private Enterprise) was awarded to Duane Harris, who graduated from Iowa State with his MS in 1968, and the Department of Economics Outstanding Alumni Award was awarded

Gamma Sigma Delta, the Iowa Beta Chapter of the Honor Society of Agriculture, held its annual award ceremony on April 21 in Dolezal Auditorium, Curtiss Hall.
