Martin Hursh Places in Model EU Simulation

Martin Hursh took 3rd place in the 31st annual Midwest Model European Union simulation at the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies at the University of Indiana Bloomington for Iowa State's Political Science Department as they represented the nation of Poland. Hursh was required to chair the ECOFIN committee meetings over the three-day program, and that responsibility is designed to test knowledge of parliamentary procedure and European Union policy. He placed 3rd out of 24 in the Economics and Financial Affairs committee, an award for outstanding skills demonstrated during the simulation that was selected by his fellow delegates.
