Economics Breakfast Club Finishes 10th Year

The Economics Breakfast Club just finished its tenth year. On Saturday mornings undergraduates working on research projects can drop in to the Heady Hall Computer Lab to get feedback on their projects from faculty and graduate students. This fall, Haylie Moore and Marissa Baietto (pictured) presented their research at the Honors Poster Session.

Breakfast Club alumni have published over a dozen papers in economics journals. This year, Reese Manternach, now a PhD Student in Occupational Therapy at the University of Iowa, published his paper on whether college towns were really recession proof. Audrey Holtkamp, now a law student at University of California at Berkely, published her paper on H2A visa workers in livestock operations.
