Joshua Rosenbloom, professor and the economics department chair, has been selected as an honoree by the American Association for the Advancement of Science for his contribution to the study of the development of the American economy and the economics of science, technology, and innovation.
The American Association for the Advancement of Science selects researchers with distinguished contributions to economics, chemistry, and planet genetics who deserve recognition for their scientific and socially notable achievements. Rosenbloom’s current research covers the role of federal and non-federal funding on the productivity of academic scientists.
