Professor Chad Hart was interviewed by The Gazette for the story "Report: Climate change making crop failures even more costly to insure." The story focuses on a new report that the federal government is spending billions on crop failures caused by extreme weather and that amount could keep growing.
Hart told The Gazette that “We spend a lot more on crop insurance these days than we ever did. They're showing more extremes there, and that's growing faster than the overall pace of crop insurance indemnities.”
