Price Spread Between Choice and Select Beef

Associate Professor Lee Schulz was interviewed by WNAX for the story "Price Spread Between Choice and Select Beef," which examines the recently narrowing price spread for dressed beef cut-outs between choice grade beef and select grade beef.

Schulz told WNAX that "we typically see the Choice Select spread bottom, as we call it, at this time of year; and, then in the spring period we start to really slingshot up, and May is typically one of the seasonal highs when we look at the Choice Select spread."
