Professor Chad Hart was interviewed by the Des Moines Register for the article "A fifth of shoppers in livestock leader Iowa would consider lab-grown meat, survey shows," which focuses on Iowan's willingness to purchase plant-based meat and milk products.
Hart said that “I’d chalk it up to curiosity. If there’s a new product, everybody wants to try it.” However, he added that it does not indicate that consumers would consistently buy it.
