Joshua Rosenbloom, professor and department chair, was interviewed by Courthouse News Service for the story "It’s a worker’s market: Job switchers landing better ‘real’ wages despite inflation," which focuses on people switching jobs in order to keep up with inflation.
Rosenbloom told Courthouse News Service that “It is certainly important for employers to reassess salaries, especially if they cannot recruit workers with the skills or experience that they require. But wages are just one part of the package and it may be that greater flexibility about working from home, more vacation time, more flexible working hours or other benefits may matter more than higher wages.”
