Falling Gas Prices Not Affecting Other Consumer Prices

University Professor Peter OrazemProfessor Peter Orazem was interviewed by iHeart Radio for the story "Falling Gas Prices Not Affecting Other Consumer Prices," which focuses on recent trends in consumer prices.

Orazem told iHeart Radio that falling gas prices aren't having as much of an affect on inflation as are supply chain issues and a tight labor market. "What's really going to abate is the demand for bigger ticket items, not for necessities but for luxury items and durable goods--things like home appliances, automobiles, and so on."
