Four students are on Iowa State's 2022 Bank Case Study competition team. They are Caleb Weingarten, economics freshman, Manisha Prasad, aerospace engineering and economics senior, Jacob Luedtke, accounting senior, and Yonting Goh, finance senior.
The competition is an annual event that provides undergraduate students the opportunity to explore the field of banking by partnering with local banks to conduct original case studies on a specific topic. The Iowa State student team is competing for a chance to win scholarship money, an opportunity to present their case at the CSBS-Federal Reserve Community Banking Research and Policy Conference, on Sept. 28-29, 2022, and an opportunity to have their work published.
The conference is hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and is sponsored by the Federal Reserve, the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) and the FDIC.
Curt Hoff, professor of practice, finance, and Peter Orazem, professor of economics, are team advisor and co-advisor.
