Congratulations to ag business seniors Cale Pellett and Calvin Carlson for their wins at the CALS College-by College Pitch Off event on Feb. 16 at the Student Innovation Center, Room 3231.
The event takes place in all seven colleges at Iowa State University. Students have the chance to deliver a 90-second pitch about an idea or business they are working on to a panel of judges. In addition to a cash prize, the top four winners in each college pitch-off will advance to the College-by-College Pitch Off Finale on February 22.
Pellett won first place in the New Idea category and won a $500 cash prize, Carlson won runner up in the Existing Business category and won a $250 cash prize.
