Peter Orazem, university professor was cited in an Oct. 30 Hindustan Times story, "India needs time-use data for public health management."
"Prof Peter Orazem, labour economist at Iowa State University, and I looked at how time allocated towards leisure activities and health might affect each other. We used time-use data of Americans from 2006 to 2008 and 2014 to 2016 and found that all types of leisure are not the same – some (running, swimming, playing sports) are consumed more by people with better health while some others (television viewing, playing computer games etc.) are consumed more by people with worse health."
Orazem was also interviewed for a Nov. 1 story in The Wall Street Journal, “Deere’s Labor Dispute Resurrects Talk of Inflation Adjustments.”
