Darlene Harl, 86, of Ames, and wife of emeritus professor Neil Harl, passed away Jan. 2, 2020, following a series of illnesses in later life. She left a host of friends and relatives to mourn her passing.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Ames, where she was a long-time and active member. Interment will be in Iowa State University Cemetery at Ames. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home in Ames. Online condolences may be left at www.adamssoderstrum.com.
