Lee Schulz, associate professor, spoke at the Iowa Farm Bureau’s 2019 Economic Summit June 28, 2019, in Des Moines.
Schulz presented "Livestock Outlook," which summarized the current supply and demand situation, drew implications for livestock markets both short- and long-term, and outlined a series of broader issues shaping the marketplace.
The one-day conference titled, “Managing through Challenging Times,” brought in experts with USDA, Cargill, Farm Credit Services of America, the U.S. Meat Export Federation, U.S. Soybean Export Council, Purdue, Kansas State, Iowa State and more.
