Lydia Richards, a recent UNI graduate, started today as the new student services specialist in the undergrad office.
While sitting at Carol’s old desk in 174 Heady, her role will be more than answering phones, greeting visitors, and keeping track of files. She will also meet with prospective students on a regular basis, be part of the OneApp Scholarship process, and send out the weekly student newsletter, in addition to covering some of the duties that Carol did (i.e. room assignments, class evaluations, etc). As she is more comfortable with our office and roles are figured out both in the undergrad office and upstairs in the main office, she will also handle other duties and projects.
