Alejandro Plastina, assistant professor, discussed by conference call the results of his study on the economics of cover crops (www.card.iastate.edu/conservation) with Sheldon R. Jones, Chief Operating Officer, the Soil Health Institute; Matt Bechdol, co-chair of the Economics Action Team, the Soil Health Institute; and Rebecca Doyle, The Context Network. As a results of their discussion, Plastina was invited to present a webinar sponsored by the Soil Health Institute in April.
He was also interviewed by Megan Durisin, Bloomberg News, Chicago, on March 13, 2018, about the results of his project on the economics of cover crops.
And on March 14, he participated in a live cable interview with RFD-TV, Nashville, Tennessee, on the same topic.
