Economics senior Daniel Jacobi has been selected to receive the 2018 Wallace E. Barron All-University Senior Award by the ISU Alumni Association Awards Review and Selection Committee.
The Alumni Association established the Wallace E. Barron Award, which has been presented annually since 1968 and is named in honor of longtime ISU alumni affairs director Wallace E. “Red” Barron (’28) to recognize outstanding seniors who display high character, outstanding achievement in academics and university/community activities, and promise for continuing these exemplary qualities as alumni. The 174 past awardees are fulfilling the spirit of this award by staying involved with Iowa State University in numerous ways.
Jacobi, who is from Waukee, Iowa, is majoring in finance, economics, and political science, and is one of only seven seniors recognized with this award in 2018. He will be honored and recognized at the ISU Alumni Association Young Alumni Council luncheon Friday, April 20, at the ISU Alumni Center.
