Leigh Tesfatsion, professor, has reported that she has received final contract forms signed by the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and ISU's OSPA confirming PNNL support (in the amount of $210,252) for her ongoing electric power market design project work, "Development of an Integrated Transmission and Distribution Test System to Evaluate Transactive Energy Systems"
This new PNNL two-year contract provides strong complementary support to her three-year DOE grant (start date 1/1/2017), titled "Flexible Service Contracting for Risk Management within Integrated Transmission and Distribution Systems."
More detailed information about the electric power market design research to be supported with this combined PNNL/DOE funding can be accessed at the following project homepage: http://www2.econ.iastate.edu/tesfatsi/itdprojecthome.htm
