Keri Jacobs, assistant professor, worked with Iowa Institute for Cooperatives this spring to develop and host the first annual Iowa Cooperative Intern Day at the Monsanto Learning Center on Thursday, June 23. The event was attended by over 100 interns and staff from Iowa’s cooperatives and featured speakers and panelists from cooperative industry leaders.
In addition to co-directing the event, Jacobs presented on cooperative formation and foundations in the morning session and served as a discussion leader during the afternoon session.
