Catherine Hayes, senior in agricultural business, is part of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture’s 2016 Next Generation Program. The purpose of the program is to educate college students about NASDA’s mission and have them participate in agricultural policy events at the annual meeting, held Sept. 21-24 in Lincoln, Neb. Hayes was one of 11 participants from seven states.
