Neil E. Harl, emeritus professor, spoke to the Washington Post about the fallacy of farmers having to sell land to pay "death taxes."
Harl was also interviewed by Celeste Baumgartner, editor of the Indiana-based publication, Farm World, on the "Reenactment of the 'Small Partnership' Exception."
And on Aug. 17 Harl was the leader of a teleconference chaired by Rita Lari of the Senate Judiciary Committee, involving merger and consolidation issues with staffers from the U.S. House and Senate planning a conference later this year.
He also had an article published in Tax Notes, "Gross Misunderstandings of the Small Partnership Concept," in volume 152, No. 7, August 15, 2016, p.1015.
