Joshua Rosenbloom, professor and department chair, has received a National Science Foundation grant from the Science of Science and Innovation Policy program for a collaborative project with Donna Ginther at University of Kansas to study several questions related to the effects of research funding on scientific productivity, including the impact of cuts in state funding for higher education, returns to scale in science funding and the degree to which federal and state funding are substitutes for one another in supporting scientific research.
