Ag bus sophomore Beatrice Maule tied for third place in the Undergraduate Research Talks on Tuesday, March 23.
Maule was one of six undergraduate students who presented their research during the LAS Week virtual event. Each presenter was given five minutes to explain their research project. Maule presented her research, "Of women and land: how gender affects succession and transfers in Iowa farms."
Once presentations concluded, presenters were put into breakout rooms to answer questions from attendees.
At the end of the session, judges announced the first, second and third place prizes. Winners were awarded ISU Book Store gift cards.
