On Tuesday, March 23 at 3 p.m., LAS will be hosting the LAS Week Undergraduate Research Lightning Talks. This virtual event is a great opportunity for LAS undergraduate students to practice sharing their research with an audience and judges.
Presenters will have five minutes to share their undergraduate research project. This format is designed for presenters to share their research projects rapidly. Once presentations conclude, presenters will be put into breakout rooms to answer questions from the audience.
At the end of the session, judges will announce the first, second and third place prizes. Winners will receive an ISU Book Store Gift Card.
1st place = $75
2nd place = $50
3rd place = $25
Presenters are encouraged to create and share slides or a visual aid with the virtual audience. Presentation guidelines and judging criteria will be shared in the coming weeks.
Space is limited. The registration deadline for presenters is Friday, March 12.
