Gabriel Lade and Ivan Rudik, assistant professors, recently received a grant from the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). The award is for $23,000 to study the effects of new regulations in North Dakota that are seeking to reduce the amount of natural gas flaring in the Bakken shale formation.
