The club is free and open to all interested Iowa State students. Each spring members enjoy a club-funded trip to the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting in Omaha, Nebraska. Bi-weekly meetings are held on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. in 368A Heady Hall. The Iowa State Economics Club is an informal student group that has round-table discussions about fields related to economics. Meetings feature guests from various fields of economics, finance, banking, and academia and are often followed by an opportunity to have dinner with the speaker.
