Elizabeth HoffmanElizabeth Hoffman, professor, published an essay, based on a series of lectures she gave between May 2020 and May 2021, designed to educate friends, colleagues, and students about what they were experiencing. It is coauthored with Ann McMillan, a Canadian writer who turned her Power Point bullet points into prose, and Jeanette Grant, who filled in the history of ancient plagues.
