Nolan Heffern, ag business senior from Decorah, Iowa, was named the 2018 North Central Division Intern of the Year Winner by Helena Agri-Enterprises. He was selected from a competitive group of 29 interns across the Midwest for his outstanding performance throughout his summer internship with Helena.
During the summer, Nolan worked as a summer sales and agronomy intern at Helena's Toluca, IL retail branch. As a retail intern, Nolan worked closely with growers to help maximize their yields, helped his location with day-to-day operations, and even got involved in the community to show Helena’s support. He also helped position Helena products and managed product trials across the area’s market. His internship was completed in mid-August.
