The main office and undergraduate office will be closed and locked.
In case of emergency during this period, contact the Department of Public Safety at 515-294-4428, or, in a true emergency, dial 911.

Heady Hall Building Info

Heady Hall will be considered locked but occupied during this period. If you plan to work during this time, you will be able to enter the building with your access card. There will be no mail service or vending service, and no package deliveries. There should be a reduction of heat in the building, however in the past this has not been significant.

Before leaving your office, please:

  • Set voicemail and email to let customers and contacts know of your availability or alternate contact information, if needed.
  • Empty the trash.
  • Ensure the windows are closed.
  • Unplug any unnecessary items, such as hot pots, coffee pots and microwaves.
  • Turn the heat down and the lights off (including lamps)
