Dr. Chad HartChad Hart, associate professor, was interviewed by China Daily March 30, 2018, for the story "China's ethanol demand remains strong."

"As China's gasoline-vehicle fleet has grown, gasoline and ethanol demand has risen sharply, and the government has announced a target to utilize a 10 percent ethanol blend by 2020," said Hart.

Hart was also interviewed for a March 30 FeedNavigator story "Feed Grain Stocks, Predicted Acreage Bring Price Bump," by Aerin Einstein-Curtis.

And by Michael Dasilva, WHOTV.com for the April 4 story "Ankeny Soybean Farmer Expresses Concerns About Trade War with China."

"For the 53 billion dollars in products that the U.S. is putting a tariff on that come from China, that represents about ten percent of all the trade we do with China," said Dr. Hart. "When you look at the 53 billion dollars` worth of trade that China`s putting tariffs on, that represents almost 40 percent of what we ship to them. I think when you're talking about double-digit numbers there, yeah you`re in the realm of a trade war."
