The Iowa FFA Farm Business Management Career Development Event (CDE) was held on the ISU campus on April 11th. There were 298 individuals and 83 teams participating in the competitive contest.
The National FFA Farm Business Management Career Development Event provides competition that fosters information assimilation, critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary for successful business management. The skills learned in this event can be used to successfully manage a farm, agribusiness, pursue agricultural business careers and can be applied to personal financial management.
The winning team at the Iowa event was from Montezuma. Materials for the contest were prepared by Ron Deiter and Georgeanne Artz.
