As the Workday and Improved Service Delivery July 1 go-live date approaches, we want to ensure you are informed and prepared for these changes. We deeply appreciate your contributions to teaching, research, and extension excellence at Iowa State, and we are confident that Workday and ISD will provide significant benefits in support of your work and the university’s mission.
We also value your time, which is why faculty-specific forums are being coordinated to provide you with targeted, relevant information about Workday and ISD. Each two-hour forum will include an overview of how Workday will impact and benefit the faculty experience, followed by interactive breakout sessions with Workday demonstrations on:
- Post-award grants management
- Travel and expenses
- Procurement
- Faculty as managers
- 12-month pay-option and benefit deductions
- Recruit to hire
- General Workday navigation
You will also learn more about the ISD Service Team that will support your area, including the opportunity to meet some of the new ISD Finance and HR Service Team members.

*All forums will be held in the Sun Room at the Memorial Union. You can register by logging in to Learn@ISU (with your Net-ID and password) and entering keyword: WorkCyte Faculty Forum, then click List Events, select Enroll next to the forum you wish to attend, and click Register. If you have any problems or questions, please contact WorkCyte_Change@iastate.edu. No need to attend more than one; each forum will cover the same material.
