PhD student Chris Pudenz and his family hosted two dozen graduate students and several junior faculty on their Carroll, Iowa, farm on Nov. 7. His family has owned and operated a beef cattle feedlot and crop farm for three generations, and this first-hand experience with agriculture inspired him to pursue higher education in Agricultural Economics.
