Purpose: To recognize students graduating from the college. The College of Agriculture and Life Science Convocation is a separate event from the official Iowa State University commencement ceremony. Convocation includes only students with majors in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

The CALS Convocation ceremony will include the following videos:

• Senior Speaker: Riley Wilgenbusch (agronomy, global resource systems)
• Recognition of Senior Awards: CALS Student Council
  • Outstanding Senior: Riley Wilgenbusch (agronomy, global resource systems)
  • Commitment to Diversity: Emmaline Putnam (global resource systems)
  • Leadership Excellence: Justin Swanton (animal science, ag and life sciences education)
  • Academic Achievement: Luke Sloterdyk (global resource systems, environmental science)
  • Distinguished Service: Augusta Hamaker (biology)
  • Outstanding Ambassador of Agriculture and Life Sciences: Heidi Fichter Mandt (ag and life sciences education, global resource systems)
• Presentation of Graduates: Each graduating senior will have a dedicated slide featuring their achievement
