Each year, U.S News and World Report, the global authority in education rankings, ranks graduate programs in business, education, engineering, law, medicine and nursing. The latest 2022 rankings included graduate programs in the humanities.
The Iowa State University Department of Economics graduate programs were ranked 53rd in its 2022 best graduate programs rankings.
The rankings are based on different measures in each field, but generally include data about incoming students, academic outcomes for graduates and career advancement. The humanities rankings are determined by ratings from academic experts.
