Causal Inference Reading Group

Faculty and students:

The econometrics workshop will be conducting a summer reading group on causal inference starting Friday June 7th, from 1:00-3:00 in Heady 360. All are welcome to participate. The reading group will meet weekly through the remainder of the summer and cover many contemporary methods for policy and program evaluation. Pizza and soda will be provided.

The reading group aims to cover chapters 70 and 71 from the Handbook of Econometrics volume 6B. Each week a participant will be assigned to lead the discussion and present text materials to the group. This will provide a great overview of methods in a rigorous fashion that will be particularly useful for students carrying out reduced form policy evaluation work.

If you are interested in joining the group, show up tomorrow to find out more.
