ASPIRE iThrive Mentoring Collective

Iowa State University is participating in the National Alliance for Inclusive and Diverse STEM Faculty (ASPIRE), sponsored by the Association of Public & Land-grant Universities and funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). As part of our involvement, underrepresented faculty are invited to participate in the iThrive Collective. This initiative “aims to establish a nurturing environment for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) and other STEM faculty who are underrepresented in their fields across the country. Members support each other’s growth, leadership, and scholarship, helping each scholar to thrive, by sharing resources, information, and networks.”

Upcoming IThrive Collective gatherings will be held on:

  • Friday, February 12, 2021, 1:00-2:30pm CT – Research Centers
  • Wednesday, May 19, 2021, 2:00-3:30pm CT - Professional Society Networks
