On behalf of the Department of Economics, we are excited to welcome your student to the Ag Business program at Iowa State University! Though we’re a little biased, we think your student has chosen a fantastic major filled with opportunities to grow. Perhaps most important, your student has chosen a program with great job placement rates after graduation. Across the College of Ag and Life Sciences at Iowa State, graduates have a 99.1% job placement rate within six months of graduation.
Your student’s official welcome actually begins now by completing online orientation and the optional June OnCyte programming in Ames. We know that beyond your student completing orientation programming, families often have questions or enjoy having the opportunity to meet academic program teams. So, we invite you to join an optional, virtual “Family Overview” live meeting with academic advisors and staff from the Ag Business program at Iowa State.
