The Agricultural Business Club honored Dr. Ron Deiter at its annual banquet on Saturday, March 6, 2021. Dr. Deiter has served as advisor to the club since 1978. The program included alumni speakers Izak Christiansen ('18 ag business) and Elizabeth Burns-Thompson ('11 ag business) and current student speakers Cale Pellet and Brooke Beinhart providing remarks on behalf of their respective groups.
Current student Julia Campbell presented Dr. Deiter with a commemorative plaque, along with custom Ag Business Club golf balls, and ISU keepsakes. The club also presented a thoroughly surprised Dr. Deiter with a card shower and digital congratulatory board with well wishes from alumni and industry representatives. In addition to the banquet attendees, Dr. Deiter’s entire family was in attendance to celebrate.
