AEI hosts Brazil group

Business Beyond Borders meetingThe Agricultural Entrepreneurship Initiative hosted a group of farm and agricultural business professionals from Brazil from July 16 to 20 in its second Business Beyond Borders program. The program was led by Kevin Kimle and David Krog.  

Other departmental contributors to the week's events included Chad HartChristian Boessen, Gil DePaula (in photo at left), and Wendong Zhang. Participants engaged in programs and events about business succession, entrepreneurial behaviors, farm management, agricultural marketing, agricultural investing and international opportunities. 

The participants met in Gerdin Hall, and off-campus locations, including the homes of Karen Kerns and Bruce Rastetter, the ISU Research Park, Stine Seed, REG, Ag Leader Technologies, and Landus Cooperative.
