And Swenson talked with Jason Hancock, Kansas City Star, about Iowa’s personal and corporation income tax system that allows full federal tax deductibility from state income taxes.
Swenson talked with Brian Morelli, Cedar Rapids Gazette reporter, about the use of tax increment financing in Cedar Rapids. Swenson’s research indicated that the city was a below-average user of this development tool compared to all other large Iowa cities.
