As a result of a resolution from the Student Government, black and white student printing charges have been set at $.05 per page on all printers on campus.
Student fees cover 100 pages of black and white per semester, with some colleges offering additional subsidies to students for additional pages. After a student has reached his/her limit of printed pages, students are charged a minimum of $1.00 per month for additional printing. Setting a consistent printing price across campus helps students better budget their printing each semester.
We encourage faculty to consider technological alternatives to printing. Sharing documents through CyBox or grading students’ work online through Blackboard are just two ways you can help students reduce printing.
